Default TPIS LT HEADERS

I am putting TPIS LT Headers on my car at the end of the month. After all my mods are complete should I reprogram my PCM; or is it not worth it until you get into the heads and cam and completely change the compression ratio. My shop seems to think that unless you modify the engine (forget intake or exhaust) I should not touch the PCM. Any thoughts.

I've had the TPIS headers on mine for about two months. No reprogramming and no codes... yet! Just bolt them on and hang on!!! :D

Sebrok,
Where are you getting your headers installed?
and how much are they charging you for installation?
P.S. Congrats on the new mods.

I get all my work done at Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg. Those guys are awesome. I think the labor for the headers will be close to $400 bucks. Do you have someone else you use in the area?

Tony's is a quality shop and if there going to charge you $400 thats a reasonable price. I havent had any major work done locally yet. When I have I drove up to ECS in Jersey.
If Tony's charges you that price I would stick with them.

They do a great job and get repeat business from lunatics like me who are getting a bit out of control  They don't need to overcharge like my dealership. If you're driving to Jersey, I would definetly consider Tony's. He's actually talked me out of doing things to my car that he would make a lot of money on. For example, I wanted to do the heads, cam and re-flash of the PCM and he talked me out of it; said if this was my everyday driver and I'm not racing often it it would be a waste. Instead I'm doing the intake, headers and high flow cats. The headers wont be available until the end of September; I can't wait.

I have had my TPIS headers on for about 8 months. GET THE HEADERS RAPED WITH HEADER TAPE. If you dont they make a annoying pisttttt shound from the exhaust bouncing off the header. Sounds like a small exhaust leak but there is no leak. TPIS are just loud headers. When I do heads, I will be getting mine wrapped!

Just a thought since it should only cost about $100 dollars. This will also protect your plug wires. I burned 3 wires in 8 months!
