Default another quick question about lowering

How low are guys getting using the stock bolts?? I did 6 full turns all the way around, but it didnt lower it much. How much farther can you go with the stock bolts?? Id like to get it as low as possible without cutting the bushings. Thanks

Did you drive it and then let it sit overnight? Mine actually looked higher after we lowered it. I then drove it and it got lower and lower over the next couple of days. We maxed out the front and left 3 threads showing on the rear bolts. Plenty low for me. Even wheel well all around. I believe I got a little lower than an inch and a quarter all around. I forgot to take measurements before hand. :banghead:

Turn the bolts all the way in the front and you should get a 3/4"-1" drop. Turn the nut in the rear until about 2 threads are left showing and you should get a similar drop. You need to drive the car around for awhile so the suspension will settle.

its been about a week...I think its settled as much as its going to, maybe Ill try a little more. If you back the bolts out too far, will they come out??? I dont want to disassemble anything accidentaly

It took my car over a week to completely settle. Of course mine sat at stock ride height for two years before i bought it so that's to be expected. If you got 6 full turns at all 4 corners I wouldn't turn the bolts anymore...especially the rears. The only advise I can give you is to take it for a very spirited drive to make the suspension really work and then see if it drops anymore. I autocrossed my car last Sunday and I think that actually helped. Oh, keep a tape measure handy.

Back the bolts out as much as you can. The bolts will not comeout as they are 1 piece with the bushings. I tried to remove them but could not.

Back the bolts up as much as you can. I even cut 75% of my bushing (what a diffrence) :steering:

About 1 inch front and rear with stock bolts adjustment to max. Wasn't enough for me and cut 2/3 off front bushing and installed long rear bolts. Approx 2" frt and rr and looks great. Any more and it scrapes too much.
