I had a conversation with a person from a high-end wheel manufacturing bis and he swares that the rear Z06 alignment has about a 1/2" inch more negitive camber then a stock C5.
So, i'm wanting to know what that would translate into in degrees. As i would think for a wheels top outer edge to move inward a 1/2", on both sides of the car, would cause uneven tire wear and make the car look something like this /---\. Thoughts? opinions?
You are correct, the wheels are inwards at the top for negative camber.
It will wear the inner edges of the tires UNLESS you corner and wear the
outter edges to compensate.
There is no difference in the way the rear suspension mounts between the C5 and the Z06. There is probably more difference in production tolerances. On my 97 I could get -2.3 degrees camber in the front while a lot of other people could only get -1.7. I could only get -.7 in the rear but others were able to get more.
