A low battery will make mysterious check engine lights pop up. When I fired my new combo up the battery voltage was pretty low and I imediately got weird codes. PCM failed to communicate, low oil, TCS failed to communicate ect. If you have done work recently and know your battery level is not 100% and get mysterious codes check the battery and charge it. I charged mine and all is good.

Glad to hear you got that figured out... One other thing I would like to add... be sure to charge your battery up 100% before firing up your car. If you let your battery go dead and then rely on your alternator to completely recharge your battery as well as run your electronics, you will seriously overheat your alternator and shorten its life... :(
If you battery keeps going dead or low, there may be a problem. :skep:
I would take off the terminals and check for leaks out the bolt holes. While you are there, remove the battery and make sure that the acid isn't leaking out onto the frame, wiring, and electronics around the tray.
Also, a bad or leaking battery will screw up all kinds of readings for the modules, and put your alt. in an early grave.
