X-1 mti cam????
is this cam to large for my car with stock heads anyone tried it out with stock bottom end vette ?????thanks for any help. :party:

I dont think its too large at all, in fact its smaller than some of the other popular cams out right now (LGM G5X2). I will be installing mine in the next few weeks so I'll let you know how it goes. You should give MTI a call, they were very honest and up front about what works and what doesn't.

There are a alot of people using this cam in head/cam set up's with the stock untouched short block.

Mitch,
The X1 is smaller than the G5X-2 cam. Plenty of people running the G5X-2 on stock heads.
The X1 WILL work with your stock heads. Will make good power too :reddevil

Don't wind up doing what I did. Had MTI install their X1 then 5 days later I was at LGM for their G5X2 :crazy: :crazy:

Did you do any track runs with both . You may have given up something as in real time performance.

There were issues.
However, before dragging it all out here on the forum I think it best to give them an opportunity to make it right.
