bolt/nut size for seat mounts

bolt/nut size for seat mounts
I am working on a new seat mount for my racing seat, but havn't been able to figure out what the bolt size is for the OEM seat mounts. I tried 3/8" but it only scews on part way. Is this some funky course thread metric size?

If the bolt are about 3/8. The correct size in 10mm x 1.5 pitch. You can buy them at a good auto parts store or hareware store. Good luck.
