Name That Noise
I think this could be a good game show :)
Anyway, I have a noise in my 2000 FRC that occurs after shifting from first to second gear. Sometimes, I hear it while still in first gear. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to concern me. The mysterious noise sounds like mixing ***** in an aerosol paint can when you shake it. I don't hear it at any other time.
Any ideas?

What you're describing sounds like engine ping to me. Does it increase/decrease under load?
