I thought/blamed it on the run-flats. Then I thought it was part of the exhaust rubbing on something. Nada......what would provide a warped feeling or vibration in the drive-train between 30 and 45 MPH. Not apparent on braking, nor at highway speeds. Dont think its the rear end (filled with Redline Only) as it feels/sounds forward around center . Give me some hints before I visit Chevy.....
From your description, it sounds like it could be a wheel out of balance. It is possible a weight has fallen off.
Also, have you noticed this since you added your Chromie wheels? This could be the culprit. Some aftermarket chrome wheels balance very heavy due to uneven spread of chrome. I have that problem now. I need to replace one of my Zo6 chromies because it took over 3 ounces to balance. It is causing the same vibration you speak of. Its just luck of the draw with mon oem wheels. This is the difference between $1500 wheels and $6,000 wheels.
Also, does it matter what gear/rpm you're in??? If not, then it is definitely half-shaft, brake, or wheel/tire related. The torque tube/clutch spins at engine speed, so trying another gear at that speed would solve the problem.
I think you should probably jack the car up and visibly look at each wheel as it spins, front and back sides of the wheels. If they are straight, then do the balance.
I had the same problem after buying after market wheels, they took a ton of weight an never were right. I ended up sending them back and getting my OEM chromed...problem solved.
