Is Alighnment Required After Lowering if so I Need Specs
Just finished lowering Zila, Looks pretty mean with the 19" OZ's on the back fills up the wheel well nicely. Drove around for about and hour to let the suspension get settled back in. Ride is definitely a little harsher but handling improvement is definitely noticible. Now that I am done and like the outcome do I need to have the car realigned and also do the spec's on the alignment change with the lower stance. I measured before and after and the car sits exactly 7/8" lower at all 4 corners.

I lowered mine on stock bolts. I got about inch in the back and 1.5 in the front. I did an alignment and the guy told me I was fine. But it's nice knowing for sure.

I lowered my hardtop approx 2 1/4" last year. I didn't get an alignment and the front tires show considerably more wear and have minor cupping on the inner corners. I have also seen excessive wear on a friend's car with the same modification and now his front tires are crap. I realize you have only lowered you car 7/8", but it is better to err on the side of caution and at least have the alignment checked. The checks are usually free and should cost about $70-$90 if there is a problem. Chris

Got mine done at Firestone after lowering. $130 for a life time alignment. Not a bad deal. The tech spent over 90 minutes to make sure it was perfect. He even asked me to sit on the driver seat a couple times while he was doing the adjustment. Outstanding guy.
I don't auto cross nor drag racing but will bring the Vette for alignment check every six-month. Hope my tires can last a little bit longer.
