Yet another column lock question....

Yet another column lock question....
I was backing the Vette (98 vert) out of the garage the other morning and went to steer and found the column locked. No warning on the DIC. The car was in motion and did not shut off like the "pull key..." does. I put the car back in park, shut it off, restarted and everything was fine. It has not done it again. I had the original CLB installed at one time but the car kept throwing a "pull key..." message EVERY time I started it. Has this ever happened to anyone else and does the COH CLB work better?
