I installed a Donaldson Blackwing today along with a Powerduct. I had a problem though...where the Power duct is attached to the MAF Unit, the Rubber Gasket won't stay seated. :banghead: The Power Duct is bigger than the factory one (obviously), so it's a tight squeeze anyway (from front to back). Further, I had to move the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor to the front of the duct vice back by the throttle body. Now, I know that is the way it is after '00, but there was no way I could get it on the car without moving it (actually, my girlfriend was able to figure that one out.) The directions said, "Some have decided to move their IAT, don't do that" or something to that effect.
Noone is at ZIP today (Holiday, so I'll let them slide).
WTF? How can I get that sucker to stay in there, has anyone else had this problem? I have no more of the straps that you can put around to hold things in place...look at the picture and tell me what I'm doing wrong...
