Default Heater Box Drippping

I have a 98 with dual climate control. I had the DR side off but had the pass side on heat just a little. I noticed water dripping from under the dash on the pass side. When I looked at it, it was dripping from the plastic cover of what I think would be the heater system. Not much just a little on the floor mat. When I got home I went to park the car in the shop and noticed a small wet spot on the cement. There was no fogged up front window (like when a heater core goes bad). The water temp was OK. I was dressed up so I couldn't tear into it at the time. The next day I went out and tried to duplicate this occurrance and nothing happened. Anyone every have this happen or hear of this? Its been fine since??? Thanks Pat

Was the A/C on? When the drain is clogged it drips in the passenger foot well

No DR AC was off. How do I make sure drain line isn't clogged?

Are you sure it's antifreeze? If it is, then it's most likely a heater core.

We had the A/C on then shut it off and took the top off. Wife was cold so I put the heat on her side. Shut A/C completely off. Didn't smell or feel like coolant. Didn't stain the floor mat either.??

Welcome to the Forum! I'm going to guess that you were seeing condensation from the AC. I know it has been humid in Ohio, and the AC runs under a lot of settings and conditions in the C5. Probably not a "leak", but keep an eye on it and let us know. :yesnod: :)
