Shifter **** replacement help
Before I start, I have read the threads about removing the original ****. I think that shouldn't be a problem. Question is:
I have an Exit28 MotorSports ****. What happens when I screw it tightly on the shifter, but the shift pattern on the **** doesn's "line up?" Obviously I haven't done this yet, but I want to be prepared.

use a nut below the **** and slightly adjust up so when **** screws down it stops where you want it too - some ***** come with a stop screw, other must not - but a trip to home depot can fix it. just got to know thread pattern

Most aftermarket ***** have one or more setscrews to tighten one you align the shift pattern on the ****. If you need a nut, the shifter thread is 9/16-18.
