I'm thinking about replacing the stock plugs in my vette and wanted to hear recommendations from others who have done this. I've read a lot of good things about Bosch plugs and NGK 55 plugs. Opinions please. . . :flag
NGK TR55's are what just about everybody uses, and they work well. TR6's would be for nitrous applications or to try to reduce detonation if it is an issue on your car.
Anyone else using the replacement plug currently reccommended by AC-Delco? It is plug number 41-985, which is an Iridium plug. The original plug was 41-931, which is platinum. So far, I've noticed a smoother idle. The plugs extend further into the combution chamber that the originals.
I put a set of Bosch +4s in my 2001 Coupe a year and half ago, when the "loose puck" frenzy was going on. Car's been running just fine since then......
