Today I had my car Dyno tuned by Jayson at MTI. Let me say thanks to Jayson as he is the master when it comes to tuning. Final Timing was only 22 deg. But we got 0 knock retard and no true knock.

I am more than happy with these results. I still have more left in her! I am still running stock Rockers. Yella Terra 1.7 would yeild about 10 more RWHP. And the new electric water pump is worth another 10 RWHP. So 475 RWHP is very possible.
Hats off to GFORCE Performance in Pearland. Jay and Mark are top notch guys who did a great motor and clutch install for a good price. Thanks to Mike Savoy of Extreem Machines in League City for busting his butt to do my heads and assemble my motor in under a weeks time. And thanks to MTI for getting the beast tuned.
 Very nice Mike...22 degrees of timing? You're not thinking what I am are you? :reddevil :D I should have mine in March 04' then we can line them up again. I have some payback from the Impy :smash:
No spray.........................yet :D . The heads were milled more than i thought my comp ratio is around 11.7.1 a little high for pump gas. So Jayson retarded it to stop the knock. First pull with 26 deg of timing was a knocking 465 RWHP.
Very nice numbers! I just installed a set of YellaTerra Rockers and while they are a little noisier than before, engine revs a whole lot freeier. Very happy with them. Cant beat the $$$. :hurray:
11.7:1 CR. Wow that motor's a strong Dr. Jeckl and insane Mr. Hyde. Pop a bottle of Super 104+ and swap PCMs (octane booster / high spark advance tune) at the track and hello near 500 rwhp!!! You'll be surprised what an extra 4-5 degrees of spark advance from 22 deg. can do for you, esp. on a high CR motor.
I am considering doing the same thing maybe late this winter. Is there any reason you did not consider a 396 (just a longer stroke)?? Nice numbers though
