Rattles during shutdown???
2002 MN6, when it's idling I hear a slight rattle underneath. When I turn the car off after the engine seems to stop I hear a rattle. It's not coming from the engine but seems like the midway to rear of the car. It only lasts about a sec or two. Any ideas?

Mine does too, so did my 99FRC, I think you might be hearing the piston slap during it running and then when it shuts down, it is just plain loud. I think it is pretty normal.

Push the clutch in when you shut down... noise goes away.. rattle in the tranny or clutch assembly.
