The plastic shift cable is too fragile for any company to offer a shift kit, the average customer would crack the cable just removing the old shifter and cable replacement means dropping the exhaust as well as the tunnel cover (I've done it). The tunnel takes up a lot of room where the shifter fits but it's possible to design your own. I built a gated shifter to fit as well as a 2" round **** that has 7 different colors of leds cast into it. I can tell what gear the transmission is supposed to be in by the color of the ****; Red-Park, Orange-Reverse, Yellow-Neutral, Green-D4, Blue-D3, Purple-2, White-1. It's nice to shift without pushing a button and see the computer shift the gears. If you build a shifter chances are the cable will break during development but the results can be very rewarding.
