I'm looking into a new brand that gets used by some impresive Le-mans and 24 hour races. Its from Australia weighs 1 lb. and even Ferrari usses them on there 24 hour cars(twin pumps) and they should sell for a fraction of the Meziere.
It weighs only 1 Lb. and is made of plastic yet super strong and EZ install, more news in less than a month.Dave Smilovic
The Meziere pump works very well on daily driven and track cars and will show you a 10-12hp gain. The pumps have a long life and a 1 year warranty. You an extend this to 2 years by sending in the warranty card within 90 days. This has been a very popular product that we haven't had any issues with.
What are MTBF studies on this pump? How many miles will it last and what is the reliabilty. As I recall the late LT1's had electric water pumps and they were somewhat reliable.
Just got my Meziere pump a few days ago....great looking product. It's made from solid billet and powder coated black. I have a 2 year warranty. I talked with a Meziere engineer and he felt that I wouild gain 12-15 hp with the 427 setup....so I'll take the low estimate and go with a 12hp gain. Meziere has extensive experience with electric water pumps for almost every make of car.
