508rwhp/497rwt..... The transport truck dropped the Z off on Saturday. Even though the roads were wet, I had to take it for a quick spin. Wow, what a difference. I had the Cartek 2x package prior, but the stroker is amazing. It pulls so much harder down low...... Wade at ARE was great. There were a few issues that came up and he took care of all of them. I would highly recommend ARE to anyone who is interested in a stroker motor. I also had the Halltech TRAP installed with the carbon fibre front bumper inlet (looks awesome). Hard to tell what type of performance gains it gave, since it was installed along with the motor..... Can't wait for some good weather, so I can enjoy this monster......
Mine is suppose to reach the shop in Orlando today--our dyno runs are very conservative so I don't know what kind of numbers it will show, but it will run strong, I havn't decided on an intake yet, I hydro'd a good H/C motor 2 years ago during a sudden downpour so I am very careful about anything that acts like a bottom feeder.
Thanks Matt..... I took it out last night and it felt very strong. The only issue was the check engine started flashing, but I had no drivability issue. I have a message in to Wade for his thoughts on it.
This happens to my car and BytezU's car too. From the research I have done and since it seems to be common with this motor and ARE programming. It is simply that the "Misfire Tolerances" adjustment in LS1Edit were not changed or not adjusted enough. My car does it all the time. It is very very annoying but not harmfull at all and it won't even set a code. As soon as you basically start driving the light stops flashing. I'll have Wade fix it when I go up to see him soon :)

Did you have the car tubbed and wider rubber put on? Or are you driving with a very light foot.
Congrats on the awesome numbers. I really want one of the big strokers. Love the sound of them almost as much as the hp they produce. Just curious how much tire you need out back to keep it hooked up. :auto:
