DIC code P1870
Does anyone know what code P1870 is on a 2002? I have a list of codes that doesn't list this one. I'm going to assume it's O2 Sensor related since it started happening after installing headers and I probably need O2 sims. Also what's the best listing of codes out there, since obviously I'm missing some?

Was a differential gear change made in the 2002? The P1870 is usually a code thrown when the differential is upgraded and deals with driveline components (i.e. torque converter slippage)

Yes, changed to 3.73 gears and 2900 stall converter a couple months ago. That's not what I wanted to hear! Do you know exactly what this code is defined as?

It means Excessive TCC Slip. After the gear and TC install the new setup is out of the expected operating range your PCM expects. This can be corrected with LS1 Edit.

Thanks. Strange that it waited a while after the change to come up with this. I would have expected to see it right away if it's just an LS1 edit issue. Oh well, back to The Vette Doctors so they can deal with it.
