Updated factory swaybar end links
I broke a front sway bar end link at a recent track day and began looking for a better alternative to the plastic factory endlink. I didn't want to hassel with sperical bearings as these always rattle. I thought that I had struck out and merely ordered a factory replacement...PN#:10435298 ($17.97).
Viola: It seems that the factory must have had some problems with the plastic end links and now provides a nice aluminum piece that securely captures high angularity ball joints. A much stronger set up.
If you do track days with your car then I would highly recommend upgrading the plastic endlinks. Just imagine a highspeed entry to an esse...a bump at the apex dislodges your front endlink...how do you spell "INTSANT OVERSTEER"? Backwards. Grass. Wall. Don't look at the wall...look at the pavement. Backwards. Squeeze on gas. Gather it up. Pavement at last. The ride was actually quite a handfull.
I think I'll buy two. One for each side! sj :auto:
