I have a leak on the left rear wheel coming from the axle. In speaking to alot of people, its seems like 1997 through 2004 owners are having this problem on the C-5's. I have a 1999 Sebring Silver Vette, with 30,000 miles on it.
Any help, would be GREAT !!!!!!!!!
Yeah, this is a common issue amony C5's. My differential started leaking so I took the opportunity to upgrade the 3:15 rear to a 3:42 rear end. Since my car was out of warranty I figure that if I had to pay the labor I might as well make a performance upgrade at the same time. :yesnod:
This is a very common problem with a fairly simple fix.
Many a post has been threaded on this subject.
If you can stand the drips of diff fluid in your garage
you really dont need to do much about it other than
have the level checked at oil change... My $.02
(Oh yeah, it does kinda goop up the underside too)
