Nothing. Either get the bottom of the rear bumper approx. 36" above the ground or cut those suckers off. I'd cut 'em cause it's a dangerous proposition raising the car that high with just a jack and jackstands. It's been done but . . .
I've heard the back must be 36-40 in. from the ground. You must get it that high, either with jackstands (carefull!!!) or a lift. Otherwise, you have to cut it. Good luck. Mine are supposed to be here tomorrow. Can't wait :D
Cut them....I had to cut mine and there is not much use for an old stock exhaust so I figured what the heck. The Borlas will go in no problem once you cut the stock stuff.
I wouldn't cut them and this is why - my .02 FWIW. Unless you sell your car to some enthusiast who wants this aftermarket system, a dealer on a trade will give you zip for these. Some dealers even will look to return the system to stock. It will cost you $50 to go to a muffler shop and have them do this install without cutting the old pipes. After a few years if you move on car-wise, you can put the stock system back on and recoup your labor costs and some of the cost of the Borlas by selling them, even if it's only say $200.00. Of course, you'll need to have a place to store them in the interim, which may or may not be a problem for you  .... Good luck.
Well, we got them on there (cut the stock pipes w/ a handsaw :yesnod: ). See my thread in C5 Tech/Performance entitled "My Borla Stinger Experience" for the details.
