MAF Sensor
This was probably discuss already however I have been able to find it. Is it worth to switch out the stock MAF? If so, how much HP can be expected? I currently have a blackwing and power duct installed on a '03. Thanks

I can't say from personal experience, but, from what I've read on here by several posters, it's not worth it. Maybe if you're running forced induction and making silly numbers you would gain a little from an aftermarket MAF and/or ported TB but, on a mostly stock car, spend your hard-earned cash elsewhere.
:iagree: The 2003 MAF does not have the straightening vanes that the prior year Corvettes had (they used the GM pickup truck MAF until 2002 and the vanes straightened out the turbulent air flow caused by the convoluted truck snorkel but since the Corvette has a straight snorkel the vanes created a restriction) so you already have about 15% more air flow. The Grannatelli and other MAF sensors will not help you enough to warrant the $350 or so cost.
When I switched out my 2001 MAF for a 2003 GM MAF I gained just under 2 RWHP - whoopie :( .
Save your money, get some wet okoles, or leather padded armrests, or a leather center console pad, or some beer, or some.........thing else.
