Default Taylor Thundervolt Wires

I am starting to research replacement plug wires and sparkplugs for my 98 A4. Does anyone have any opinions or advice? I am looking at the Taylor Thundervolt wires. Thanks.

You will get a lot of opinions on which wires are the best. I have the Thundervolts and like them. Quality and fit are good.

I have used the stock wires, MSD 8.5mm wires and the Taylor 10.4mm wires.

I am using the 10.4mm Taylors right now and like them a lot. They did seem to smooth my idle a bit. I'm also using the NGK TR6 plugs.

All this said, the MSD wires treated me well also.

Also, I am using the Thunderracing fire sleeves for extra protection. So far so good...not burned wires.

I have the TPIS headers.

Same here - they work great. No interference plus, they easily clear my header primaries. I still use the Fire Sleeves for safety. :yesnod:
