Re: [Torque Specs] Anyone know the torque specs for this bolt? (C5-VERT)
The accessory drive belt idler pulley bolt torque is 37 ft-lbs or 50 N-M. You should ensure the idler pulley and dust shield are fully seated against the shoulder on the bracket before tightening the bolt.

C5-vert...glad you got the spec. Hey, where did you get that nice pic of the front of the engine? Are there more?
He actually got them from me when he needed the correct routing for the serpentine belts. I got them from the Corvette Action Center web site which has any info you could ever want or need for any year vette. they have a huge picture database too.

Re: [Torque Specs] Anyone know the torque specs for this bolt? ($$$frumnuttin')
Damn, I replaced the pulley and tensioner and I still have a chirping coming from around my power steering/alt. It can only be two things that I can think of now. My buddy put a new pulley on my power steering(it was cracked - stupid plastic pulley), and he did not press it on all the way which caused my belt to line up uneven on the pulley. This caused the belt to wear on the edge. I took it back and we pressed in on some more but it still chirps. I am going to try a goodyear gator belt instead of the GM dayco. Lets hope that works. I doubt it can be anything else as it never chirped before until we did the power steering pulley swap. :cuss
