Swapping mufflers only.....
I am interested a just a bit more "tone" for my 98 C5. Not too worried about dyno readings etc. Cost is a factor, so I wondered if anyone sold mufflers only, like FLOWMASTERS that could simply be changed for the originals. Are the FLowmasters TOO loud, or are there others that would make good candidates? penick@nettally.com

if all you wish for is a slightly improved tone; then I would suggest the Z06 titaniums. They are available used (with a couple thousand miles of use) for around $550.

A & A sounds just like what I want! Thanks! But, they are offering the x pipe along with what I guess to be their TIPS for a special deal of 129. Do you think the x pipe would make much difference, they claim it does, but I cant figure out how to contact them to talk. Anyone have the email or a number, or better yet, some practical experience with either or both of their products. penick@nettally.come
