Exactly where do I install the throttle body bypass please???
Is it at the bottom of the throttle body where 1 hose comes from the top passenger side of the radiator to the throttle body, connected to a hose from the other side of the bottom of the throttle body which goes to a metal (chrome color) T ??? Thanks!!! :flag
Also, how much collant can I expect to have come out??

It shouldn't be a "T" fitting. It should be a straight. It does go from one side of the bottom of the TB to the other. Just two hoses with the straight fitting in between.

Now is not the time to do the throttle body bypass...its designed to keep the throttle body from freezing during the winter,,, if you relese the pressure from your system.. you wont lose very much.... you should be able to connec the tewo lines in a few seconds...its not really a very good mod... the throttle body gets heat via convection... if your running a 190 stat.. the throttle body will be 190... with the bypass on... the throttle body will be cooler for sure but not enougth to measure...under a microscope...

Oh, you won't loose much coolant either. Just a few drops if you do it carefully!! (Make sure it is cool)
I pulled the hose from the radiator to the TB, & coolant started tp pour out of the TB,so I panicked & put the hose back on. I was expecting the coolant from the hose from the radiator, not the TB. Did I do something wrong? How much will pour out of the TB? Can I stop it?

 :steering: There isn't much coolant in the throttle body. Don't worry about it. This is neither a major mod nor an expensive mod but does go well with a thermostat change. :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:

I saw this mod four years ago offered for 19 dollars... I went out looked at the throttle body... went to home depot... bought a double ended 1/8 brass nipple..cost $1.18 and two stainless steel mini clamps 40 cents each.. total cost $1.98. the throttle body went from 190 F to 140 F... not enought to make 1/10 hp.
