Ben,
If yours are the darker springs then they are REV 1116 Dual Springs. If they are shiney (almost chrome) then they are REV 7716 Dual Springs which are cadmium plated. Both have the same specs but REV shipped a bunch of 7716's out while the 1116's were on back order. I have the 7716's and they look so good I wish I had clear valve covers so you can see them while it running!
Yeah I feel for ya. The same thing hapend to me with my Cartek 2X package. I broke both of the springs on the #4 intake valve. Mine did bend the valve a little. Be sure that you do a compression test. Let me know how LG handles it, hopefully they will handle it better than Cartek.
Dave, let me get this straight. You broke a spring an hour away from your destination and drove it there with the broken spring, you then took it to the place that installed the Stage 2X heads and our cam. We then mailed you a new spring, your mechanic does a compression test and determines that there might be a bent valve, you ship the head back to us and we tested/repaired the head. At no time were you charged for anything.
I broke a valve spring on a 525hp N/A L98 with a few thousand miles on it. I replaced the just the srping that broke and never had any problem. With the small amount of miles you have, you don't need an entire set of srpings.
