Technical question: Lifter preload with jesel rockers?
I got the non-adjustable jesel rockers and am in the process of installing them. They have double the
preload of the factory rockers. The factory rockes take 3/4 turn (on a finer tread) to take them from
zero lash to being seated. The jesels take 1-1/2 (one and a half) turns go from zero lash to being
seated. Something like 0.050 difference or there abouts. That's a lot of preload. I though it was
supposed to be around 0.02-0.03 or there abouts. Anyone have any knowledge about this? :confused:
