Default Part number for an LS6 Intake Manifold

I have an opportunity to buy an intake manifold that has 12556333 embossed into it. It has the firing order also 18726543.

I need to indentify it. Is it an LS6 manifold?

The GM part number is 88894339, but the number that you see on the intake is the casting #, not the part number. You can tell the difference by looking at the bottom (floor) of the manifold where the gray foam pads are. If its flat, its a LS6 intake. If its raised, its a LS1 intake.

Here is a comparison pic: (LS6 is on the right)

So if the one I am looking at looks like the following it must be an LS1 manifold from prior to 2001?

YES! The intake you have pictured above is a LS1 Intake, NOT a LS6.
