anybody with cam only?
seems like everybody has h/c packages, anybody out there have intake, exhaust, cam/springs with otherwise untouched heads? I cant afford the heads but may be able to go with cam/ springs, and a tune probably at Cartek if the gains would be worth it.

Yup.
Gains are well worth it. I have run 11.41 and 122 MPH with cam/headers package, 4.10 rear and 3500 stall converter

I'm planning on doing a cam, LTs, and a ls1 edit sometime next spring after my warranty is up (if I don't get an extended one). You can get the cam, install, and tune for around $1400 last I checked (lgm). Heads are another $3000 I think for like 20 rwhp or so.

It is a good bang for the buck mod. I would do cam, pulley, tune. First intake is not going to get you a bunch wait if you do heads IMHO. You will feel a good kick with a good cam. :thumbs:
