While changing the brakes, I took off the pads and I can't remember which side the wear indicator tab goes on, the inside or the outside of the rotor. Maybe someone could look on their car??

Inside of the rotor and it should be on the trailing edge of the rotor. In otherwise the last thing to "see" the rotor should be the wear tab.
Below is a pic of the top of my rear brake caliper/rotor. You can see the wear indicator on the inside pad. Actually, I posted this picture for the same question last year. :)
