I would recommend the LG Longtube Pro headers. It comes as a complete exhaust system, no welding is required, the whole system is stainless steel and they have the most performance gains of any header. With just the headers and LS1 edit dyno tuning I went from a 13.4 @107mph to a 12.7 @ 114.5mph...the difference in acceleration is dramatic! Get them and you won't be sorry! Good luck

TPIS headers, you will notice a little more heat around the shifter. The pipes run right thru the middle of the car

I've had the FLP's and now the LGM Pro headers. IMHO, the LGM's are the best hands down. Proven gains and packs alot of torque under the curve :reddevil

The TPis should work great with your setup.

Would recommend the Stainless Works headers. Almost same pricing as the TPIS and much better quality. Please email me for more info if interested.

I'm running SLP's. Haven't tried anything else but a nice increase thru the whole curve on the dyno.

You've GOT to install headers!

For enjoying acceleration on the street, especially with a 3.42, consider shortys. More appropriate for top of your torque curve uses - i.e. nailin' it. Long tubes were my choice for their low RPM exhale value - i.e. - 100 MPH+ for hours. Got Bail?

Whatever you decide, find out how far below the oil pan they come down. That will limit or completely exclude your ability to lower the car...as a really good smack translates into flange bolt pull out. Point, my Lingenfelter's are solid, perfect, and 3" below the pan at the collector bend.

No lowering for me. :(

Whatever you do, don't even consider shorties :nono: With mods very similar to yours, shorties lost me 3 rwhp while gaining 5 rwtq  They do sound nice though  They are a total waste of money unless you live in CA and don't know anyone who will smog the car and look the other way at longtubes.

Do a search and I think you will find that the LG longtubes show the most impressive gains of any header regardless of the level of mods :yesnod:

Longtubes, then dyno. Shorties , then re-dyno. Back to longtubes again.

That's focus.
