The touring are quieter while cruising and louder than the Z06 at wot. What you gain by free flowing CORSA you lose by the weight 30 pounds Z06. I like the change I had Z06 on for 6 months.
I don't know about your race and street but I do know about the Pace Car. I've got them on my Vette and they're like throaty stock at low to mid but at full throttle they are a thing of sonic beauty! Pure righteously tuned V8 race sound. Lot's of thumbs up from other muscle car drivers...of course my motor's not stock either.
The Touring remind me of the Z06 Ti's. The Indy's aka Pace Car are a sweet sounding after market exhaust with a Jeckel and Hyde personality. Nice sounding at idle, part throttle and cruise but NASTY with an exoctic tone at WOT.
But I'd recommend you check out as many after market systems as you can find in your area before spending any $$$.
I had the corsa pace car on my old hardtop. I loved the sound at idle and WOT. I would do have them again but I am running straight exhaust. (Much cheaper) Kaley
I have the regular Corsa indy's I love 'em. Your order sound of is correct. Personally I'd go with the titanium street. This has the same "power pulse" technology as the indy's but is much lighter (but much more expensive). The exhaust sounds great at wide open throttle and is incredibly quiet while cruising. I would have gone with the titanium street system but it came out after i got mine.
I've got the corsa indys on my almost stock 99 vert. quiet at idle, no resonance at cruise, but when you put your foot in it they scream. It is a much higher pitched sound than some of the louder exhausts but seems to do a better job of getting rid of resonance when cruising. I would get them again in a heartbeat.
The Indy's are pretty cool. Quiet at idle and cruising, gets rid of the resonance in the stock system but scream at WOT. Add some headers (FLP's on mine) and they really sound badazz.
