Had to take advantage of the Fall air, so I went to Atco for some T&T.
This car has me flabergasted  Without further adieu, the timeslips.
#1. Slight spin...beat up on a nitroused LS1 Trans Am
60'...1.701
330..4.905
1/8...7.550
MPH..92.10
990'...9.708
11.799
MPH..116.85
#2 Dead Hook..snuffed out a Vortex Mustang
60'....1.624

So all new bests on 60', ET, and MPH.
Still stock internals and stock GM tuning (referring to the air-fuel tables)
I did make a few changes since 2 weeks ago. I changed the fuel filter, and it was partially clogged. Probably was the reason the car was running lean.
This is something you guys should think about doing. Thanks to Dennis K. and Tony Abbruuze the "abuse Mode" has been throughly eliminated from the ECM :smash: The car now feels stronger than ever. Of course the cool air helps. This car is definitely a "Ringer", either that or it's posessed :reddevil
The Gods were shining down on the Covette plant on the day your car was built......I still cannot believe the times your car puts out and just wait for that 30 degree low DA day......Tony
Congrats Mike, that track was really hooking last night. The guys at the line finally got my car lined up better and moved the cones over a little for me and as soon as they did that I had a 1.46 60ft and ran a 10.87@127.53
That is awesome. What tires are you running, or is it stock tires. Whatever the case awesome time. Just bad butt. Next time you plan on going put up a post i would love to make a trip over to the track and get some runs in. Usually when i there is all hondas and it gets me sick  . Anyway awesome times

Abuse mode is integrated in the ECM by the GM engineers so you can't go fast :jester Actually it seems that way because with a stall TC when at the line, and you try to bring the revs up, at a certain point (for my car it was about 18-2000 rpms) it is programmed to sense an abuse and it will pull timing, sometimes all timing and the car will go silent and not move for a second or so and all of a sudden it comes back, but slowly. The car will bog bigtime as it feeds the timeing back in a slow manner. First time it happened to me, I thought something broke. This is why some people will state they have a better 60' when they flash the TC, as they don't realize what is going on. I'm sure Carmen deleted this for you, but ask him anyways.
Torque Management is a similar item, programmed in the ECM, and it also pulls timing at the shift, to ease wear on the trans.

Great news Joe  I was hoping that you could get around the trans issue. It was a fun night....and NO oil downs

Mike the tranny still didnt want to shift, it was the 1.46 60ft that helped me get in the 10.8s. Oh and for the no oil downs....yeah after you left and went home, I was getting ready to follow up my 10.87, a guy broke big time and it took forever to clean up. At least you got in and out....much better than all of us standing there waiting
