Damaged C5R sleeve, how to fix ?
My friends C5R engine was destroyed on the last race of the season, Cyl # 3 melted and damaged the cylinder wall.
Is the sleeve replaceable? and can it be done by pulling out or does it have
to be machined out ?
Most all his bearings looked like they came out of a worn out big block from 1969, not a 5 month engine, this is a situation he has taken up with XXXXXX
But as he has experienced the last 5 moth after delivery, there is not much effort to handle and fix the stuation

We have resleeved a couple of C5R cylinders before. They are a very soft material :sad: but we can do it and its had no problems
