Maybe you'd get a better answer in the Tech/Performance section. The rattle from revving could be a shield loose, but it could also be a number of things. If you are under warranty, let them diagnose it and fix it.
At about $50K per car, if ANYTHING rattles, bumps, burbles, hiccups, sneezes, etc., I go directly to the dealer and have them check it. :thumbs:
As a minimum, the information goes into the GM "reported problems" file on your car and should, eventually, aid the GM folks in identifying problem trends with our beloved Vettes. :steering: :chevy
My A4 did the same shuddering in reverse, but it only happened when hitting the gas immedieately after the shift...try shifting into reverse, waiting a few secs, then pressing the gas. Dont know if this is normal or not. My dealer dismissed me and told me ALL c5's do this :rolleyes:. However, it has not caused any problems (yet).
