I have an '02 'vert 6-speed I am considering putting headers on. I already have Corsa Indys but no X-Pipe. I'd like to add headers and an X-pipe and keep my Corsas. Does anyone have a recommendation on which headers and X-pipe give the most bang for the buck? Any before and after dyno data available?
Stainless Works Long Tubes with their new Center Section Xpipe with Random Tech High Flow Cats is what I would recommend for you. The entire system is 304 Stainless Steel and comes with a lifetime warranty which no other header mfg'ers offer. Hosepower gains would be in the 20rwhp range without any tuning and probably closer to 30rwhp with PCM tuning.
This system is also VERY affordable. Drop me an email if you have any questions or are interested in our pricing on it.
I'm not familiar with the brand but please send me whatever info you can including pricing. To be honest, I'm leery of trying anything that has not been used and commented on by another forum member. Maybe you can refer me to someone that has used this combination.
Thanks for the response.
Give Paul at Thunder Racing a call about the FLP kit. About $1600-1700 for everything you need back to the Corsa. Comes with long tubes, cats/offroad pipes, and x-pipe. Paul can also get you all the gaskets and locking header bolts. Do a search for JMX's article about installation. Took me and my best friend just under 6 hours from unpacking to cleanup. Good luck.

I really like my Stainless Works headers on my 02. The sound is awsome. I do not have an X pipe and don't think that I am going to install one. With my Blackwing intake the car dynos at 330 rwhp.
Lou, Whats involved in putting the LGM's on a pre 2000 vette.
I just got 'em.
The air tube mod is required (or can we block it off ii we are not concerned with emissions)
Do you need o2 extenders or do you need an 02 harness adapter ?
Ive heard all those things....IMHO the LGMs are the best set-up available but i'm a little stumped.
Lou sends the right hook up for the O2s there is a bit of a change you make, you remove the front sensors and replace them with the rear and he gives you the connector to make it work. Then you need o2 sims to plug into the rear, and you should be good to go on the O2 side. As for the AIR you need to get the newer tube and replace the old one. You can't block it off as you will get codes and while you don't care about the emissions, your computer will! Lou can get the right AIR tube for ya, or at least point you in the right direction.
