The 2002 wheels will fit your '98. You'll need to use your '98 Tire Pressure Sensors with the new wheels. They will fit the wheels. The lug nuts should also be fine.

The lug nuts will fit but they will not look nice. The wagon wheel hub caps cover the lug nuts so they don't have provisions for the screw-on covers that the next gen wheels use.
I suggest getting a set of closed-end chrome lug nuts or wheels locks and you'll be in business.
Otherwise, you'll need the lug nuts that come with the new style wheels and a set of lug nut covers to screw on to them.
I did this swap myself. The sensors work fine on OEM wheels. Yes, you need the Y2K lugs to be able to use the EOM lug covers - otherwise use aftermarket lugs.
Best ones to use are the OEM nuts with covers. They are rugged and can take a lot of abuse the others can't. The Chrome ones on my 03 Z06 are starting to fall apart already and I have only had the car since June.
