Need HELP accessing RFA reciever
How in the world are you supposed to access the RFA receiver in the left rear fender? It looks simple enough in the shop manual.. BUT my access cover is like REALLY glued in.. What do I do, cut it with a knife? I been prying with a screwdriver for 20 minutes and have about 6 inches open at the rear only. If there is no easy way and I have to cut it loose, where do I find something to put it back together when I am done in there?
The reason I want in there is that my key fob has been getting "weak" lately and today, I get a "Service Tire Monitor System" from my Right Front (including C current DTC). I remember reading here a long time ago that someone found the antenna on the RFA receiver was loose and I am hoping this might be my problem too..

before you start tearing it apart i've got a question.
does your keyless entry remotes work?
if they do then it's probably not the receiver because the TPS's & remotes operate on the same frequency.
just something to think about.

That panel is held on with some very strong double stick tape,keep prying :smash:
FYI,no way the antenna could be loose,it is part of the receiver...
