Make sure you do a thorough job cleaning out the bolt holes in the block and the block deck. When you pull your stock heads off, you'll probably find a thick, hard coating of carbon on the piston tops that you might want to clean off. I used a razor blade and vacummed the cylinders after scraping the pistons. I rotated the engine so that the piston I was cleaning was at TDC to make it easy to do so.

The ground wire/screw on the back of the driver's side is a biotch to put back on. That's all I'm going to say about that one.

I used ARP head studs to make subsequent swaps easier but they're only optional. I included a pic of them below.

Use Jon's website as a guide - if you follow his instructions, you'll do great.

There are a couple of good instruction sites...
It's a piece of cake if you can follow directions. . .even I did it...:)
Make sure you follow the torque specs for all bolts. Also, go to Sears and get a Metric set of ratcheting wrenches (craftsman). They are quite expensive (about $70 for a set of 7 wrenches), but will save you hours on the install. They also make the ground strap on the back of the heads much easier.

Other tips...on the teardown, I used a power drill (small cordless unit) with quick plug sockets to remove all bolts. It's quicker than air tools and you don't have to get the air hose all over your fenders...
