I would like some input regarding KR. I get upto 8 degrees of KR at WOT. Typically it's 2-4 degrees with your occasional 6-8 degrees. It seems to happen at WOT and upon Decelaration. I think it maybe false knock, but I'm unsure. I did an autotap in case anybody is interested in reading that. My LTRMs and 02s seem fine. My mods are listed below....Any help would be greatly appreciated......Tony
You only get the bad KR while decelerating?? I have never seen that one before!
I take it that it must be false knock if you dont even have your foot in the gas and its detonating while slowing down.
The best solution is to get some 110 octane unleaded race fuel and head out with your Autotap and see if you can still get it to knock. This will let you know for sure if it is false or not.

Is it safe to run that high an octane in a street car? I'd heard that higher octane not only equates to knock resistance but flame / combustion temperature. Could mean burned valves, if I recall correctly (and it's fully possible that I don't remember correctly since it's been 15 years :jester )
110 octane wont hurt your engine as long as it is UNLEADED. I wouldn't recommend running it all the time in your street car, but for a test to check for KR, you would be fine.
