Default Drilled & slotted Rotors

I would like to get some drilled rotors, But I am not interested in racing, but I still wonder if the cheaper drilled rotors will still be an upgrade from stock or a down grade? Does anyone have any experiences with aftermarket drilled rotors?

We sell Baer Eradispeed, Drilled/Slotted or Slotted only rotors. They are a definate upgrade from stock with regard to heat management and they come with a warranty not to warp.

We have had good luck with the powerslot slotted rotors as well and feel that they are an upgrade from stock as well.

The GM stock units are hard to beat for the price retailing at around $400 for a set of 4.

cheaper drilled rotors
Stock rotors are $55 each, where are you finding "cheaper" drilled ones, warrenty or not the drilled rotors are for the street only and looks only, why would heat management be needed for street only? It's not needed for the street. Anyway if you not racing it doesn't matter, get what you want.

The cracks are from using them on the track.

If you're not interested in racing then the Eradispeed rotors should be fine. For looks the two-piece rotors can't be beat.

You can get the GM Durastop drilled and slotted rotors for $520.00 a set. They look good and they do stop. Use a hi-temp silver paint on the hat section and on the vanes for a nice looking anti-corrosive finish. Better looking than zinc-washed which will "chalk" after a while.

I just bought a set of slotted/cross drilled/zinc washed rotors for my 2003 Convertible for $280.00 including shipping.

This supplier comes highly recommended and they're supposed to be a very nice piece so I'll post back up on Friday when they get here and let you know my impressions.

Funny you should ask;)

We import the DBA gold series rotors, drilled and slotted OR, just slotted
they are $499 per set of 4 and we have them in stock.

Let us know if you can help you.

Thanks

Lou, I like those too. Is the gold color from the dichromate dip after zinc plate, or is it paint? I can't tell from the pic. It's nice to see some reasonably priced rotors hitting the market now. I love competition! :jester

Lou are those rotors cryo-treated? I didn't see them on your website. :(

UPDATE:

The rotors just arrived and I'm pretty impressed.

Here's the skinny: They're a one piece, OEM blank from BPC that been CNC slotted (6 slots), cross drilled (3 holes, 6 times on each rotor) then zinc washed.

Not bad at all for $280.00 shipped!

I read about this shop on Z06Vette.com and as they're not a sponsor here wouldn't feel right about posting their name or website listing, but if you'd like to know where I picked these up from, just send me an IM or do a search on Z06Vette.com and it's right there.
