Clean electrical wiring installation?
With all the elec components (gauges, switches, etc.) we add to our cars, has anyone figured out a nice clean way to route all the elec wires and fuses? Those familiar with industrial contol panels know that the wiring is always nice, neat, labeled, etc. Very clean looking & makes for easy troubleshooting down the road. My electrical installations usually end up looking like a spaghetti of wires. For most of our stuff you need 3 connections: +12V constant, +12V ignition, and a ground. So if you had those sources leading to a secondary fuse block or terminal strip it might make troubleshooting and any future additions much easier. I am going to look into maybe using the glove box or the area behind the glove box for this purpose. Right now the only extra connections I have are: Valentine1, side neons, and shock sensor, but eventually add gauges and NOS switches to that list. So to make a long post short, does anyone have a nice clean method for electrical instalations? Pics would be great.
