Replacing convertible top - questions
I'm about to order new dark blue top fabric to replace the light tan top. Has anyone done this by themself? The existing top and parts is in excellent condition, is there anything else that needs replacement? Or is it easier to have this done through an upholstery shop?

Some options they list are:
- Headliner with deck lid section $140
- Special Corvette Pads for Canvas tops $155
I'm not sure if I need those things.

I would definetely have a professional do this type of work. It requires lots of adjusting and specialized knowledge and experience to get it right.

Get it done buy someone who knows what they are doing. I had mine done 2 years ago and I have never regretted it. you can see pics at my yahoo page below. Also if the old top is in ok condition sell it on ebay. I got $450 for mine.
