Default How to install front screens

Just picked up a pair of front screens for me 1999. Has anyone ever installed these?
These are to larger ones for the opening where the fog lamps are. They look to have a mounting screw hole?
Any ideas out there.
P.S. These are factory GM parts. :chevy :seeya :flag

Go to Home depot, get some heavy duty adhesive backed velcro, cut into a few 1" wide strips, stick it to the sides of the screens (have both sides of the velcro attached to each other).
Clean the openings on the car with rubbing or denatured alcohol to remove any dirt or wax, let dry. Then remove the adhesive backing from the other side of the velcro (which is stuck to the velcro you stuck on the screen already) and press the screen in place in the opeining.

They are bolted in place on Z06's...but this method is much easier, is easily removable, and works.

I called west coast corvette and asked. Thet told me to get two way indoor outdoor tape. It worked great. No problems not even in the rain.

John: You can use "velcro" as many have, or you can use 3M double sided tape. I used the tape and it work well. I also removed the OEM plastic fillers before installation, for more air flow. :yesnod: :)

:iagree: The only thing I can add is - Once you get the velcro stuck in place on both the car and the screen, lay a piece of note book paper over the velcro before you slip the screen into place. That way once you press the screen ito place, you just pull out the paper and the two pieces of velcro connect right up. Makes the install really easy.

Use Velcro. Makes it easy to put on and easy to take off for cleaning.
