New Converter - SS3800
I just had installed a SS3800 and I like it. It is looser than the Yank 3000 that I now have forsale but not so bad as to ruin the drivability. I can forget about stabbing the throttle under 35 cause the tires just go up in smoke. I did run it up to 90 to see how the 2 to 3 shift felt and to see how much rpm I lose. Well now at Wot the car does not drop below 5000 rpms.
I will give you a better write up after a few days. So far I like it. I will sell my 3000 for $450 if anyone is interested.

Keep us posted.
I'm having Speed Demon install one very soon. Just waiting for a flatbed to take my 'vette to Houston. Thought my tranny gave out but actually looks like the SY3500 gave up the ghost :eek:

What was the str on that ? I'll bet the DR's will have to stay on now if you want to hook on the street.
The PT4000 that I went with has already made my runflats look like I went Auto-xing with them after a few WOT attempts(chunks of rubber missing). Rain would be scary in this car now.

2.55 STR I think. I hear that even DR's may not be enough if you have 400+... :lol:
