New Converter - SS3800
I just had installed a SS3800 and I like it. It is looser than the Yank 3000 that I now have forsale but not so bad as to ruin the drivability. I can forget about stabbing the throttle under 35 cause the tires just go up in smoke. I did run it up to 90 to see how the 2 to 3 shift felt and to see how much rpm I lose. Well now at Wot the car does not drop below 5000 rpms.
I will give you a better write up after a few days. So far I like it. I will sell my 3000 for $450 if anyone is interested.

Keep us posted.
I'm having Speed Demon install one very soon. Just waiting for a flatbed to take my 'vette to Houston. Thought my tranny gave out but actually looks like the SY3500 gave up the ghost

Why did you not go with something bigger?
Any concern that you should have?

Re: New Converter - SS3800 (MC TORCH RED)
What was the str on that ? I'll bet the DR's will have to stay on now if you want to hook on the street.
The PT4000 that I went with has already made my runflats look like I went Auto-xing with them after a few WOT attempts(chunks of rubber missing). Rain would be scary in this car now.
You going to Ennis this Friday ? :auto:

2.55 STR I think. I hear that even DR's may not be enough if you have 400+...
