Car Won't Start?
I need some help. A 99 six speed here is what the car will do. The car will start and run fine, sometimes after it is shut off it will not start. The car will crank over. but will not start.
If the car sits half hour or an hour it will start and run fine. It does not set any codes or turn on the service engine light.
Given the complexity of the systems, I'm not EVEN going to claim to know what it is, though I can give you some things to eliminate... perhaps.
First, make sure you have a good, fully charged battery. Then, be absolutely certain all contacts are good, especially all grounds in any glass car.
Finally, I had a nearly identical experience in which, after about driving me nuts, I found I had a faulty battery cable. It looked fine, BUT there was a poor connection between the cable end and the molded battery clamp, inside the clamp where it could not be seen. Nor was it dissernably loose. When I finally discovered the situation, I cut the molded end apart only to find that most of the "lead" around the end of the cable was corroded away from the cable! New cable, no more problem.
All probably too simplistic for your situation, but somewhere to start? Best of luck. :yesnod:
