It is a good article; Hib is a good writer and knows his stuff. GM did finally come up with a fix for those who had the ring problem. However, many people have a "consumption" problem because of their right foot! :D :smash:

So can anyone confirm that the newer, '02 and up cars have lost the piston slap/cold start knock problem? It sounds like they addressed it with the new pistons, but I'm wondering if that solved it? Thanks.
